Wall O' Water Season Extenders
The self-standing Wall O' Water enables you to start your cold-sensitive vine crops such as tomatoes, peppers, squashes, and melons two months early. Your plants will be healthier and produce up to twice the fruit starting 30-40 days sooner.
The Wall O' Water provides 900,000 calories of heat every night. So much heat was provided by the Wall O' Water, that it sufficiently warmed the soil beneath it to melt the snow in a 3-feet diameter. Heat provided by the water freezing is sufficient for the plant to grow and thrive when planted two months before the last normal frost date.
How To Use
On clear, level ground place your Wall O' Water around a five gallon bucket two months before the last frost date for your area. Fill each tube 2/3 full of water, allowing the Wall O' Water to come together at the top to form a "tepee." Do not adjust the shape by moving the top or bottom. Insure the water is all the way to the bottom of each tube by grasping the top edge and tugging upward. Remove the bucket. It is important to set the Wall O' Water up for a week before transplanting to warm the soil to avoid stunting the roots.
